Entrance to Nambwa Camp, Bwabwata National Park

Description

A rustic and evocative travel photograph of the entrance signage for Nambwa Camp, located within the Kwando Core Area of the Bwabwata National Park. The hand-painted wooden sign, weathered by the sun and seasonal rains, sits amidst the dense Kalahari woodland of the Zambezi Region. As the only lodge and campsite situated directly inside the park's boundaries, this entrance serves as the gateway to a true 4x4 wilderness experience. The surrounding bush is a mosaic of Zambezi teak and false mopane trees, frequently visited by large migratory herds of elephants and buffalo that move through the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA).
