Abandoned Railway Culvert on the Selati Line, Kruger National Park
Description
A hidden piece of transport history, this concrete and stone culvert once supported the Selati Railway Line as it traversed the drainage lines near Skukuza. Captured in 2017, the structure remains intact despite decades of abandonment and the encroaching bushveld. This image documents the enduring engineering of the early 20th-century railway that eventually led to the proclamation of the Kruger National Park.
