A fleet of Toyota Land Cruiser 70-series pickups prepared for remote mineral exploration in Namibia, 2008. These vehicles, fitted with heavy-duty roll cages and off-road equipment, represent the vital logistical backbone of the Namibian mining industry. Stationed under shade cloth to mitigate the intense desert heat, this fleet was tasked with supporting deep-field geological surveys and exploration camps across the Namib and Kalahari basins.
